The main family’s red Jeep Wrangler is inspired by the "old red truck" that is a popular Christmas decoration. 

Here’s a sneak peek of an interior illustration where you see the Joneses' red Jeep up close:

Every Christmas season, I always see the old, red 1940's era pickup truck with a live Christmas tree in the back as an ornament and design. 

If one of the main points of O Holy Night is to modernize the carol, or to put the classic Christmas vibes into a modern setting, why not also update a popular holiday symbol/trope too?

(Also, my mom and dad used to have a Jeep Wrangler before I was born, so it’s a cute family reference.)
