Hello! I am back with another fact about my upcoming debut author-illustrator picture book, O Holy Night: A Modern Christmas Carol, which is coming out on September 22nd. Check it out below:

O HOLY NIGHT: FACT #7

This book was inspired by one of my illustrations that went viral on Twitter a few years ago!

In 2022, I wanted to illustrate a Christmas scene. I decided to illustrate a cute family looking for a Christmas tree at a Christmas tree farm. I did it on a whim! I posted it on Twitter, and it went viral almost instantly. It had a ridiculous amount of views and about 18,000 likes. 

Weeks after that, my agent Alex emailed me and told me that Megan Abbate at Bloomsbury Books reached out and that she wanted to know if I wanted to expand that viral illustration into a picture book. On top of that, Bloomsbury wanted to know if I was also willing to write the picture book and adapt/update the Christmas carol "O Holy Night." I never wrote a picture book before, but I said yes.
