I'm on YouTube!

I recently started a YouTube channel. The process of speaking to the camera in a long form way is very new to me. I make short videos on TikTok, but making full length videos for YouTube is a totally different process. I’m very excited about this journey!

Here's a quick video summary:

My name is Alleanna (pronounced al-lee-AH-na) Harris. I am an author, illustrator and animator from New Jersey, South Jersey to be exact. I've been represented by the Bright Agency and illustrating professionally since 2017. (Nine years!) My main job is picture book illustration, or #kidlitart. To date, I’ve illustrated twenty picture books!

If you go to my website, you’ll see 19 books, but my 20th book is coming out next year. (I can't say who the author is or what it's about yet, but it's very cool!) My 18th book is my debut author-illustrator picture book, O Holy Night: A Modern Christmas Carol, which comes out on September 22, 2026 with Bloomsbury Books US.

Aside from picture books, I’ve illustrated magazine covers: 

I've illustrated editorial illustrations for folks like The New York Times, Teaching Tolerance/Learning for Justice (Southern Poverty Law Center), and One Day Magazine (Teach for America):

And I've also illustrated commercial work for people like Xfinity, Toyota, Target, and The History Channel:

Aside from that, I sell my art prints and stickers on my online store, AlleannaHarrisArt, that I’ve been operating on Etsy since 2015. However, I recently opened a Shopify store that’s become my main store.
