Hello!

I'm Alleanna and this is my very first post here on this blog. You know what writing my very first post feels like?

It feels like starting a new sketchbook.

And it's quite intimidating, I must admit.

However, the advice that I heard works best with starting new sketchbooks is this: open it up to the first page and do anything. Some people choose to doodle, some people choose to scribble.

Well... this post is my scribble.

Now that that's over with, I can't wait to get into it! I'll be sharing my art, insights into the picture book illustration process, my thoughts and doodles about daily life, and the things that inspire me.

Things will be up and running here shortly. I'm just getting started.
