From The Archive: The Stroller

An entry from my old sketchbook, or should I say: The Archive.

The Archives™️.

I like the idea of sharing old sketches from my past sketchbooks every once in a while. I have this habit of calling my body of older work The Archive™️, so here’s a sketch from The Archive™️.

Pigma Micron and Tombow marker on Moleskine sketchbook. June 2016. (I don't know what was in the bag in the stroller.)

I was sitting in the local African braiding shop and one of the braiders who was off that day had her toddler with her. She parked the stroller in front of the braiding chair next to me. I happened to have my sketchbook with me, so I decided to loosely sketch it.

A snapshot in time. An easy way to time travel. That’s what I love about sketching from life.
